Arabic Music
Production
I do a lot of music but never have I
produced arabic music
production.
The instruments are way to hard to play on a keyboard. These
are not regular chord patterns or progressions.
Mayne if I was in Lebanon or was born an arab it would
work.
This is not the case though.
The reason I'm even writing about this type of production is
because I had a client ask me to make a track for a belly
dancer.
The dancer is extra fine and can really move
but the songs she dances to are not at all my style. I had
to pass the project on to a networking beat maker.
I just don't do as much World music production as he does.
I'm more of a U.S. traditional producer keeping to hip hop, rnb
and pop music.
Lebanese tracks are not at all in my range. The closest I
have got to anything outside of my usual is some Latin
music.
I'm no Jawaahir and it's not as out there as new age music
production but it pays...lol.
Recording arabic tracks takes some extra skills and a keen
ear for this style. I would rather stick to roots and remain
paid with buyout music.
