Channeled Music Business and Production

What I do is very much called channeled music business and production because I am so focused.

Business music is what I do on a daily basis because these type clients are the ones with money and professional projects.

The music industry is very wealthy but very selective on who they actually allow to get some of the wealth.

You have to be a professional yourself. That means presenting yourself and your production company as reliable.

This goes double for producers like myself who operate 90 percent of their business online.

No record label wants to do business with a producer that is no prepared to meet deadlines. You can't place music on hold for artist that have to drop albums on very specific dates.

Knowledge is key too. Sound masking and knowing your music systems in software and hardware is essential. Artist will do their jobs and as a producer you must know yours.

Communication is pertinent also. No messages on hold when doing business with the big dogs. Don't put music in the background of your voice messages either.

This information is really great for those that operate outside the U.S. in BBC nation or the UK.

International money is bigtime too. I make plenty of money from countries like China and Korea. They all love music for business ventures they are involved in.

This is one of the reason I treat all my instruments with care. You never know when you might need a world music sound to close a deal.
