Music Production
Tips
I use to look for music production
tips when I began this journey of
music making. It's the natural and most common thing to do. As
a newbie or even an old head you must keep learning.
The problem for me was no one had Pro
Tools or really knew mixing in my area of Columbus, Georgia so
I had to come to Atlanta.
This is where I began to grow. Just by watching other
producers in major stores like MARS music or Guitar Center back
in the day I learned a great deal.
You could easily be in one of the stores and pick up routing
sound effects or mastering techniques.
Back in the year of 2000 sound modules were huge so I
learned all the ends and outs of midi sequencers and
controllers.
It's really the best way to educate yourself on a budget.
You will be very surprised at what you don't know when you get
around another producer.
Besides that video websites like Youtube or Imeem can teach
you a wealth of information about music production absolutely
free. Did I also mention you can watch them and learn at your
own pace at anytime of the day.
That is GOLDEN all by itself. The Internet is so popular
that people are actually getting engineering and audio degrees
online.
The music industry has changed and the technology is
advancing and changing right along with it. Make sure you stay
connected!
